Class Descriptions

Parent & Me
Introduction to movement and rhythm while dancing with mom, dad, aunt, sister, etc (16 or older). 
Introduction to both movement and rhythm in a fun, nurturing environment. This class is designed for 3 and 4 year olds to establish a sense of rhythm, build better coordination, establish right and left directionality, and improve gross motor skills. Ballet & Tap combination class. Recital Class
5-7 Year Olds
Introduction to the basics of ballet and jazz technique. This class will develop poise, flexibility, coordination, grace and imagination. Recital Class
Follows classical ballet techniques. This class is structured on progressions in barre, center floor adagio, turns, leaps and jumps. Recital Class
This class concentrates on proper body alignment, flexibility and extensions. Includes various jumps, leaps and turns. Dancers will achieve clean body lines, balance and coordination. Lyrical and Contemporary technique included.
These classes are designated for competition choreography. Auditions Required
Focus is on sound clarity, precision and rhythm patterns. Dancers will also establish listening skills, rhythm, timing and stage performance. Recital Class
Musical Theater
Instruction in singing, theater dancing, character development, monologs, etc. Recital Class
Focusing on the popular, urban, youth culture style of dance, originating on the street. A more isolated style of dance with sharp accents and lots of style. Featuring high energy and popular music. Recital Class
A feel good, sensual, fun and sassy class. This class is done in high heels (see dress code) that incorporates genres of pop, jazz and hip hop. 
Tumbling is a form of gymnastics performed without props or equipment. Classes will teach tumbling including flips, somersaults, tucks, handstands, and handsprings. Conditioning will be included.
Beginning Adult
Combination of ballet, jazz, lyrical, hiphop and contemporary. Each week will be a different class. Novice and Beginning level dancers. 18+  Recital Class
Adult Classes
Adult classes are for 18+ ages. Intermediate/Advanced Level
Buti Yoga

Combination of traditional yoga moves and dance.

The plyometric elements of a Buti Yoga class are cardio-intense. Wild and liberating movements will pump up your heart rate, so you'll burn more calories and increase your resting metabolic rate.

Please Bring a Yoga Mat. Buti Band uses a band and for Buti Hot Core, you will need a pair of socks.

Beginning Vinyasa Yoga
Emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. A moving meditation that creates strength, freedom and fluidity in the body and mind. Also an educational class where we learn the foundations of Yoga, about the 8 limbs of Yoga, about the correct form and why we do certain poses, etc
Dirty Fit
Dirty Fit is a fun dance fitness class that gives you confidence. Starting with a warm up, you'll learn real choreography that has been designed to build your confidence and self esteem, while also helping to increase your endurance and stamina. ...  for all skill levels and dance abilities.
